Fine Arts

Blanchet students can enroll in band and choir and choose from a number of visual arts classes, as well as participate in extracurricular drama clubs and performances.

The Blanchet Fine Arts Parents Group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Art Room and anyone interested in supporting the arts at Blanchet is welcome.

FAPG Announces New Financial Assistance Program
Need financial help to attend a fine arts workshop or competition? Apply to the Fine Arts Parents Group for assistance!

The group has raised funds for this program through a variety of projects throughout the year including assisting at the St. Vincent’s auction, running the concession stand at games and selling flowers during drama productions.

The goal: To encourage and support more students by enabling them to participate in outside fine arts programs.

For example: Students can apply to attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Children’s Educational Theatre or other art, band, choir or theatre workshops or competitions. All interested students should see their fine art teacher
