2009-10 Yearbook

This year's high school book will be full color, 96 pages long with a fall delivery. The mid high book will be 68 pages long, full color and will also be delivered next fall. The yearbook staff is looking for great photos to include in the book! If you attend a school related event or have other school photos to share, please email them to cathy@blanchetcatholicschool.com. Be sure to shoot your pictures at a high resolution and to indicate the names and grade levels of each student.

DECA Club

On November 1-2, 19 Students attended the DECA Oregon Leadership Institute Conference in Bend. On Sunday the students attended educational breakout sessions and participated in a formal etiquette dinner where they practiced the ins and outs of proper table manners and dinner conversation. Monday's itinerary included fast-paced teambuilding activities and opportunities to meet and network with students from all over Oregon.

Mara Hanawalt Wins American Legion Oratorical Competition

Blanchet’s head speech coach Mike Grainey and assistant coach Camas Kakuk are proud to announce that sophomore Mara Hanawalt is the winner of the statewide American Legion Oratorical Constitutional Speech Contest held on February 23.

Science Olympiad

Blanchet Hosts State Science Olympiad Competition

The high school and mid-high science olympiad teams are forming and will start preparations for the state competition at Liberty High School in Hillsboro on Saturday March 13, 2010. Any student interested in participating should see Mr. Shultz. Sixth graders are welcome to join the mid-high team.
