Important dates and information

August 9th at 6:30 p.m. - Fall and Winter Coaches Meeting 
August 23rd - 6:30 PM, Fall Parent Coaches Meetings, LSC 
August 28th - First Day of Mid High Fall Sports
 

Coaching Checklist

PRIOR TO START of SEASON

  • Complete OSAA required courses (High School Coaches Only)
  • Turn in proof of First Aid & CPR Certification to the Athletic Office (Training will be provided at mandatory coaches meetings)
  • Pick up Coaches Binder @ Coaches Meeting
  • Child Environment Safety Training - Contact Jaclyn Becker at jaclynbecker@blanchetcatholicschool.com
  • Read the Coaches Handbook & return the signed statement to the Athletic Office @ Coaches Meeting
  • Pick up the Rule Book from the Athletic Director @ Coach Meeting
  • Sign Contract (Contracts will be emailed via DocuSign)
  • Read Undue Influence Rule
  • Pick up Budget from Athletic Director
  • Pick up the Scorebook from the Athletic Director
  • Pick up equipment, keys, and items needed for season from Athletic Director
  • Pick up First Aid Kit & stock items as needed from Facility Director's Office (Coaches Only)

AFTER SEASON STARTS

  • Turn in Roster to Athletic Office 
  • Pick Up Emergency Contact Forms and place them in your Coaches Binder
  • Lead Parent Meetings (High School Fall Sports - August 23rd Parent/Coaches Meeting 6:30 p.m., LSC)
  • Pick up uniforms one week before 1st competition
  • Schedule ImPact Testing (mid high football, high school football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball and baseball)
  • Team Photos - Scheduled through athletic department
  • Arrange Senior Night for last home competition (VARSITY ONLY)
  • Arrange an end-of-season awards party & let the Athletic Department know the time/date/location
  • Order team trophies from capitaltrophyinc.com

END OF SEASON

  • Return all equipment & uniforms to the Athletic Director
  • Set up end of season meeting/review with the Athletic Director
  • Pick up season stipend pay check from the Athletic Director
  • Return keys to the Athletic Director
