Founders' Day
Founders' Day is Blanchet's annual celebration of our past and of a promising future: the past as we honor the bold leaders who dared to dream of a Catholic secondary education for the mid-Willamette Valley; the future as we celebrate the students who learn, serve and graduate with a bright and hopeful future.
The annual event is held in early spring and includes the National Honor Society induction ceremony honoring exceptional Blanchet students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. The Founders Day event also includes services awards recognition of Blanchet board, faculty and staff members. We also give out several special awards, including:
- President's Award
The President’s Award is one of the school’s highest honors and recognizes individuals and groups that help made significant contributions to the school’s success - Community Partner of the Year Award
We recognize these a community business partner for their exemplary commitment to Blanchet Catholic School, our students and programs. - Volunteer of the Year Award
Recognition of someone with selfless dedication to Blanchet students and programs. - Distinguished Educator Award
The highest honor a faculty member can receive at Blanchet.
