Support Blanchet

Blanchet is a non-profit organization that depends on parent and community support in order to keep tuition affordable, update its facility, offer tuition assistance and enhance programs.  Blanchet tuition does not cover the full cost of education. The school depends on fundraisers, donations and gifts to meet the gap between the amount of tuition charged and the actual cost of a Blanchet education.

As part of the Enrollment Agreement, parents agree to participate in the annual auction (donate goods or cash totaling $100), the annual appeal (any size contribution counts as participation) and the student raffle (sell a total of ten tickets).

Blanchet welcomes community support of our fundraisers and encourages donations and gifts of any kind or size.  All sizes of contributions are needed and appreciated. Donors receive prompt acknowledgement for their gifts and are recognized in our annual President's Report.

Please see our list of giving opportunities including sponsorships, planned giving and unrestricted gifts.  For additional information regarding how you can support the school, contact Toni Nanneman, Development Manager or call 503-391-2639 x240.

r. Bill Brooks spent a lifetime as a devoted learner and educator.  In over a decade in the classroom at Blanchet Catholic School, he inspired a generation of students to write, read, and think critically (in several languages!).  This scholarship was established by the Blanchet alumni with the support of the BCS community.  All donations received towards this memorial scholarship will go for student scholarships. Annually, 8th grade Blanchet students who plan to attend Blanchet in 9th grade will be invited to submit an essay. The Blanchet alumni association will select the winner and award up to $1,000 annually at Class Day.

True Blue Gala

Blanchet’s annual benefit auction, our ‘True Blue Gala’ is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2024, and features a premier silent auction, happy hour, entertainment, and a delicious dinner followed by a high-energy live auction. We also host an online silent auction virtually from October 7 through October 11.  This is Blanchet’s largest fundraiser of the year, and your support helps to cover the cost of the Gala and, more importantly, provides much-needed resources for the programs and services of Blanchet Catholic School and our students.

Annual Appeal

Blanchet is a school that is blessed with an incredibly supportive community because of the difference it makes in the lives of our students and, through them, in the world. This support allows us to keep our tuition among the lowest of similar schools in Oregon. Please join us in supporting our annual operations; these donations go directly to the school, helping us pay for academic programs, operational costs, and teacher salaries, to name just a few items. We appreciate your support of our students, our faculty, and our school.

Student Raffle

The Blanchet development team works with student leadership to plan a Student Raffle each year!  Students sell raffle tickets to help raise money to benefit students and student programs, such as New Student Orientation, CAV Pride Day, Class Retreats, Grandparents Day, and much more.
