NOVEMBER

  Early Action applicants only. Separate application in the UO Scholarship Dashboard. Applicants need a 3.85+ unweighted GPA. Semifinalists interview on campus in late January or early February, and winners are notified by March 15. To get into the Scholarship Dashboard, students need their UO student ID from the Status Portal, which appears a few days after they apply.

DECEMBER

• The Hagen Scholarship Dec. 1st https://haganscholarships.org/
  The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate from college debt-free. Parents’ Adjusted Household Income must not exceed $125,000. The scholarship provides $1,000 to help purchase essential items for college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Free workshops, free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and free Study Abroad opportunities provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Hagan Scholars have attended 745 colleges and universities located in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and have studied abroad in 64 countries.

      Be living in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam or Canada
      Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent
      Plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2027-28 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school or CEGEP or equivalent in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam or Canada

      Be first-time applicants who are graduating 2027 high school seniors (U.S., Puerto Rico, and Guam), graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from homeschool education in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada

  Requires the Honors College application and a Boise State Scholarship Application profile. Awards are usually 1,000–5,000 for one year. Recipients average a 3.85+ unweighted GPA with a strong resume and essay.

JANUARY 

• Montana State WUE-Due 1/07 
  MSU will be offering a very limited number of Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) scholarships to new freshmen enrolling in the fall of 2027. The WUE application is open, and instructions to apply can be found on our Nonresident Scholarships page. The deadline for WUE scholarship consideration is January 3rd, 2027. Due to the high value of WUE and the volume of applications, the scholarship is limited and extremely competitive. We encourage students to apply early. Students will be notified in mid-February if they have been awarded WUE.

  Candidates must
      Demonstrate the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship within their communities, schools, and workplaces
      Display strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
      Be citizens of the United States of America
      Be current high school seniors attending high school within the United States (including any U.S. territories or commonwealths), and graduating in winter 2027 or spring 2027. Applicants living on a U.S. Armed Forces base and attending high school outside the U.S. are eligible.
      Plan to enroll in a full‑time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four‑year college or university in the United States for the entire 2026-2027 academic school year

  Who can apply: Current DECA members in any grade. Students need their DECA membership number from their chapter advisor. DECA awards more than $200,000 a year, based on merit: DECA involvement, leadership, service, and academics.

  You may apply if you are a graduating high school senior who has been affected by addiction—either through a parent or guardian’s experience or through your own experience with addiction and recovery.
  Applicants must live in Oregon. Children of graduates of Volunteers of America Oregon’s Men’s Residential Center may apply even if they live outside Oregon.

  SCHOLARS MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR:
      Be able to describe your ethnicity, heritage, or ancestry in relation to the countries, territories, or lands in Asia or the Pacific Islands
      Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply
      Be enrolling or continuing as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in a U.S. accredited college or university in Fall 2027
      Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted), or equivalent, or have earned a GED
      Must apply for federal financial aid for the 2026-2027 academic year using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) by early April 2027

  Eligibility Requirements
  Be a high school senior in the U.S. who is currently enrolled in or who has completed a high school or college dual degree course where computer science, engineering, or robotics is the subject. Students who have yet to take this course can opt-in to take an assessment offered by Amazon.
  Be planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or other computer science related field of study from an accredited 4-year college or from a 2-year college with the intent to transfer to a 4-year college.
  Must be authorized to work in the US. Example: Employment Authorization Document holder, Permanent Resident, or US Citizen.
  Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
  Must demonstrate financial need.

  The Association of Computer Professionals in Education (ACPE) allocates a portion of our annual budget each year for scholarships of up to $3,000 each for students in Oregon and Washington.
  These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors who have been actively involved in the innovative use of technology during their high school careers and are planning to pursue studies in a technology-related field.
• Oregon Music Hall of Fame Scholarship- Due 2/25

  OMHOF awards yearly scholarships to selected graduating Oregon high school seniors who have exhibited serious pursuit and accomplishment in their personal musicianship – and who are college-bound music majors. Recipients are publicly recognized at an award presentation where each performs onstage, demonstrating mastery of his/her instrument.
