Mr. Bill Brooks spent a lifetime as a devoted learner and educator. In over a decade in the classroom at Blanchet Catholic School, he inspired a generation of students to write, read, and think critically (in several languages!). This scholarship was established by the Blanchet alumni with the support of the BCS community.
All donations received towards this memorial scholarship will go for student scholarships. Annually, 8th-grade Blanchet students who plan to attend Blanchet in 9th grade will be invited to submit an essay. The Blanchet alumni association will select the winner and award up to $1,000 annually on Class Day.
