Summer Camp Information

Blanchet teachers and coaches offer a variety of academic and athletic camps to students entering grades 4-12 every summer. All classes are taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers and coaches. Small class sizes allow our instructors to customize course content to campers' specific needs. Classes are held on Blanchet's campus — a safe and secure location.

Academic Camps - Middle School and High School

Band Camp—NEW CAMP!!!

This camp is for anyone interested in Band for the 2025-26
school year. The camp will learn pep music for athletic events.

eSports Camp—NEW CAMP!!!

Spend a fun week exploring a variety of games offered in our esports leagues, completing a blend of challenges, team competitions, and skill building to ensure a dynamic and fun-filled experience for all skill levels. Games covered: Super Smash Bros, Rocket League, Mario Kart, Marvel Rivals, Splatoon, Pokemon Unite, 2K NBA, and Madden

3D Printing Camp—Middle School and High School

$100 August 12–15 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

For students entering grades 6–12 in Fall of 2025
Camp Instructor: Robert Krause
Students will get the chance to work with 3D modeling software (Fusion 360) to create 3D objects. In addition; this camp will allow students to familiarize themselves with 3D Printers and 3D Slicer programs in order to print/produce designed objects. – No prior knowledge of computers is required.

Robotics Camp—Middle School and High School

$100 August 12–15 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.

Camp Instructor: Robert Krause
Students will get the chance to become familiar with VEX Robotics and build their own robot and program it to do various challenges. Some 3D Printing may be involved.

Math Tutorials (MH Math I, Pre-Algebra, & Algebra I)

For students entering grades 6–9 in Fall of 2025.
These tutorial sessions are open to students interested in strengthening their skills in mid-high math, pre-algebra,
and algebra. Students will review concepts in their math area and introduce newer and more rigorous concepts of the math course the student plans to take in the upcoming school year.

Beginners Home Ec

Basic cooking and hand sewing. This camp is designed for students that have not already done a Home Ec camp or class with Mrs. Rodli.

This camp is designed for students that have already completed a Home Ec camp or class with Mrs. Rodli. We will design and create cakes and learn advanced sewing with a sewing machine.

Middle School Readiness

$75 August 19–21 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

For Blanchet students entering grades 6–8 in Fall of 2025
Camp Instructor: Corina Moore
Students will work on developing: organizational skills, study skills, assignment formatting, time management, goal setting, and communication skills. This will be a fun and interactive week!

Grammar Camp

$100 August 4–7 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Registration Deadline: August 1, 2025
For students entering grades 6–8 in Fall of 2025
Camp Instructor: Becky Rodli
Learn and review the basic forms and functions of grammar. We will also review basic sentence structures and practice writing grammatically correct paragraphs. Get a jump start for the new school year.

Spring Football Camp—Middle School

High School Academic Camps

Algebra 1 Review—High School

$200 August 11–14 and 18–21, 1:00 –3:00 p.m.
Registration Deadline: August 7, 2025
Camp Instructor: Carlton Wise
Prerequisite: Students must have previously taken algebra 1 at Blanchet Catholic. Students who have not taken algebra 1 should take one of the math tutorials offered at a different session.
This course is designed to strengthen weak algebra skills, ensure a transition into geometry and algebra 2, and recover credit for algebra 1. Students will be required to work outside of class time to meet the requirements of the course. Attendance is mandatory and does impact credit recovery. This course is for credit recovery only. Students can earn a pass "P" credit for successfully completing the course for credit recovery only.

College Essay Writing—High School

Preparation for Honors Pre-Calculus—High School

Camp Instructor: Jim Hackl
This class is designed to prepare the incoming students for Honors Pre-Calculus class. The class will touch on subjects that are critical
and elemental to creating a solid foundation for the class. Content will include the following areas:

Solving quadratic equations (factoring, quadratic equation and
completing the square)
In depth look into the graphs of parabolas
Graphical Transformations
Unit circle
Introduction to Vector Analysis (Important for students taking
Physics)

SAT Prep—High School

$300
July 21 - 25 - 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Registration Deadline: July 18, 2025
Teachers: Jim Hackl and Alena Willbur
This course will prepare students for both sections of the PSAT/SAT. Practice tests will be done and examined for errors. Students will learn test-taking strategies specific to the PSAT/SAT. This course includes ALL of the dates listed above.
